Myrtle Beach celebrates Oktoberfest

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – October is nearly upon us, and so is Oktoberfest! Celebrate with the City of Myrtle Beach and the Oceanfront Merchants Association on October 12 on Ocean Blvd.

Between Eights Ave. North and Mr. Joe White Ave, the day-long festival begins at noon and concludes with a fireworks show at 11 p.m.  The festival will include live music, food and beverages, and art vendors.

Banks include Cowboy Mouth, Drivin N Cryin, American Aquarium, Passafire, Ballyhoo, Who Shot JR? and Broken Strings and the Channelheimers Oompah Band.

Admission to Oktoberfest will be free, and there will also be a Kids Zone in Plyler Park with an inflatable bounce house and slides.
