Man with flat tire robbed at gunpoint walking home

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A man who left his friend's house Monday night ran into bad luck when his tires went flat, and he was robbed at gunpoint while walking home.

A police report from the Myrtle Beach Police Department says an officer met with the victim at approximately 3 a.m. The victim said he left his friend's house in Forestbrook after watching football, and realized while driving home that he had two flat tires.

The victim pulled his car over, and since he did not have a cell phone, began walking home. Once he made it to Highway 15 at Harrelson Blvd., he was approached by two suspects who held him up at gun point and demanded he give them his money.

The suspects got away with the victim's debit and credit cards, and then left on foot towards Harrelson Blvd.
