MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A trailer of sporting equipment was stolen from the parking lot of the Hampton Inn in Myrtle Beach, according to a police report.

The enclosed trailer was parked in the back parking lot of the Hampton Inn and approximately 10 p.m. Saturday, and when the victims returned at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, the trailer was gone.

The trailer was valued at $5,000 and contained thousands of dollars of baseball or softball sporting equipment ranging from gloves, to bats, to tents and catcher's gear.

Video surveillance showed a pickup truck pull into the parking lot at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, hook up the trailer and leave with it.

Police later located the trailer in North Myrtle Beach, and the victims stated the only things missing were two wagons, and three buckets of balls.
