MURRELLS INLET, SC (WMBF) - The sheriff's office in Georgetown County needs your help identifying and locating two men who broke into a Murrells Inlet home.

>When the home invasion was reported on Huntington Marsh Road around 3 p.m. Friday, the two black male suspects had already fled the scene.

The homeowner told police they came into the house through an unlocked door, and they heard the men's footsteps before seeing the handgun and hearing the men demanding money and jewelry.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office Bloodhound Team searched a wooded area with no results, but they did learn that the same men approached another home on the same street and fled when they realized the owners were home.

The sheriff's office says another home invasion in Garden City was reported to Horry County Police shortly before their investigation began, and the suspects and vehicle description is a match.

One of the men is described to be 5'10" tall and wearing a dark baseball cap. The other man is around 6'02" tall and was wearing a yellow and green traffic vest. They are believed to be driving a 2013 white Chevy Tahoe with Georgia tags PHR-2671.

A sketch of one of the suspects was released Saturday morning after witnesses described what the intruder looked like to SLED investigators.

These men are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone that can identify them or has any information about the robbery is urged to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at 843-546-5101.
