Martin Luther King 'Meet The Press' program from 1963 to air again Sunday

WASHINGTON, DC (WMBF) – Sunday marks 50 years to the day when Martin Luther King and Roy Wilkins were guests on 'Meet The Press', three days before the historic March on Washington and the pivotal "I Have a Dream" speech.

At the time, King was the head of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and Wilkins was the executive secretary of the NAACP. NBC aired this 30-minute program on August 25, 1963, and it will be aired again on WMBF News on Sunday at 6 a.m.
