SUMTER, SC (AP) - Officials with the Department of Natural Resources say they have found the body of the Timmonsville man who went missing while boating on Lake Marion Wednesday.

DNR Capt. Robert McCullough says the body of 45-year-old Todd Bryan Ham was found at about 7:30 a.m. Friday by DNR divers. The Timmonsville man set out about noon Wednesday with his 18-year-old son on a fishing trip. McCullough says the boat encountered trouble and the men went into the water.

The younger man was able to get a life jacket out of the boat and was rescued, but his father disappeared in the water.

Ham's cause of death will be determined pending an autopsy.
