CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Chick-fil-A is hosting a fundraiser for the family of a 2-year-old who is currently battling cancer. The event will be held on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m, according to the Facebook page for the event here.

Chick-fil-A will donate a portion of sales during the fundraiser to Justin and Lauren Carter to help them cover the cost of cancer treatment for Jackson, their 2-year-old son.

The Facebook page Praying for Jackson Carter, here, tells Jackson's story. He was diagnosed with cancer in June, and will have 40 weeks of chemotherapy and four weeks of radiation.

Donations are accepted at Conway National Bank under the account named "Benefit for Jackson Carter".

The event will have a 50/50 raffle, a visit from the Chick-fil-A cows, and they will be collecting tabs from soda beer cans to donate to the Ronald McDonald house.
