MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The WMBF Storm Team is still tracking a storm moving into Horry County from the north.

This will drop some heavy rain and frequent lightning as it slowly moves to the south.

The Severe Thunderstorm Warnings issued by the National Weather Service in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee have been EXPIRED or CANCELED.

The storm that moved through Georgetown County has downed trees and power lines, says Fire Chief Mack Reed.

The reports of the downed trees have come from the Carvers Bay area, in at least three locations. So far, no homes have been damaged.

Don't forget the Storm Team Weather App to track storms on the go. Make sure you have the proper push notification settings on your WMBF Storm Team App to make sure you get any weather alerts.
