An officer responded to a report of a dog locked in a car at the 800 block of Oak Forest Lane Sunday afternoon. The officer found a female black pit bull/Labrador mix in the car, with the windows cracked a couple of inches, and no water available, according to the MBPD police report. The dog was panting heavily with "syrupy drool."
