MYRTLE BEACH (WMBF) - Looking to mark the Independence Day holiday with fireworks or a festival? Check out these events going on across the Grand Strand and Pee Dee.

AYNOR

Come and join the Town of Aynor on Saturday, July 6 as we celebrate Independence Day! Bring your family and enjoy a day full of games, food, drinks and entertainment at either the Aynor Park or Morris Manor. Starting at 1 p.m., this fun-filled day will end around 9 p.m. with a fireworks show!

DILLON COUNTY

July 5 and July 6 - $2000 To Win Street Stock National Series 300 & Fireworks at the Dillon Motor Speedway presented by Raceway Automotive GM Parts of Hartsville

Event begins at 8 p.m. It includes Late Model 75 laps $1500 to win, 4 Cylinder Pure Stock, MiniCup Stock, Chargers, Street Stock $2000 to win and fireworks.

GEORGETOWN

9:30 p.m. - Georgetown City will present its annual fireworks display from East Bay Park. The display can be seen best from the Harborwalk or other areas along the Sampit River.

LITTLE RIVER

Saturday, July 6 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. - La Belle Amie's Independence Music Blast

Enjoy a relaxing and fun afternoon of live music from two talented bands. Plus, sample the many varieties of La Belle Amie wine, flavorful wine slushies, and ponder the beauty of the vineyard. Take the vineyard tour (2:30 p.m.) or browse the gift shop. Its an afternoon of summertime fun. Admission is $8 per person over 18. But if you bring two canned goods its only $5.

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH

Thursday, July 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. - American Pride March

  • Active duty military, WWII Veterans, Sons of the American Revolution, and local volunteers will march carrying the American, South Carolina and POW-MIA flags. Volunteer marchers will meet in the Kroger parking lot at 781 Main Street no later than 10:30 a.m. Marchers will begin at both ends of North Myrtle Beach in Windy Hill and Cherry Grove, and will arrive at the middle of the city at the Horseshoe on Main Street at about 1 p.m. Activities will conclude with a flag raising ceremony and prayer. This event is sponsored and organized by the American Legion Post 186.

Thursday, July 4 at 1 p.m. - Salute for the Shore

  • Privately owned vintage military aircraft will fly together in an air parade along the South Carolina Coast. "Salute from the Shore" is organized by a non-profit group of patriotic South Carolinians who want to honor our armed forces and their families. They will pass over North Myrtle Beach about 1 p.m. People are encouraged to gather on the beach and salute the flyover by wearing and waving red, white and blue.

Thursday, July 4 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. - Music on Main Concert Series

  • The City of North Myrtle Beach invites the public to enjoy a free concert featuring the Caribbean Chillers, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band from Florida. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring beach chairs. The concert will be located at 202 Main Street in North Myrtle Beach, and is sponsored by First Federal Bank.

Thursday, July 4 at 9:30 p.m. - Fireworks at Cherry Grove Pier

Friday, July 5 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Music on Main Concert Series at the Horseshoe

  • The City of North Myrtle Beach invites the public to a free concert featuring the Steve Craig Band, a beach variety band from Spartanburg, SC. This concert will take place in the Horseshoe on Main Street located at 11 South Ocean Boulevard, North Myrtle Beach. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring beach chairs. The concert is sponsored by First Federal Bank.
