FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Authorities say a 28-year-old man has died after being shot at a Florence gas station.

Investigators said Dawud Bull of Darlington was shot several times around just before 2 a.m. Sunday at the Speedy Mart gas station on Highway 52 near downtown Florence.

Bull was transported by EMS to McLeod Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken. His body was being sent to the Medical University of South Carolina on Monday for an autopsy.

Florence Police say Bull went to the gas station with his girlfriend and was at the window when an SUV containing six people pulled up. One of those people was an ex-girlfriend.

A verbal argument between them ended when someone in the SUV shot Bull.

One of the men in the vehicle - Dwayne Lamar Burr - turned himself in to Florence Police on Monday and has been charged with accessory after the fact of murder. Police are looking to make additional arrests, but have not identified any other suspects.
