LAKE WORTH, FL (WFLX)--A fire aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship is now extinguished.

The call came into the Lake Worth Coast Guard at 2:52 a.m. on Monday. The Royal Caribbean Grandeur of the Seas reported a Class A fire, meaning the items on fire were wood or other combustible materials.

Units responded and accounted for all passengers and crew members.

The fire was contained to Deck 3 of the ship and was eventually extinguished.

There were no casualties or injuries reported as a result of the fire.

A press statement from Royal Caribbean states, "In an abundance of caution, the Captain deemed it necessary to muster all guests at their assembly stations. All 2,224 guests and 796 crew have been accounted for, and there have been no injuries of guests or crew reported. The safety of our guests and crew is our top priority, and we will continue to focus on their needs and concerns.

Grandeur of the Seas was enroute to CocoCay, Bahamas, but is currently heading to Freeport, Bahamas, for further evaluation. The ship is in calm seas, and has full power."

The Carnival Sensation was on standby to help the ship in case of evacuations.

It is bound for Freeport, Bahamas and has full power.
