MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police identified and arrested a suspect in connection to a hotel robbery. In April, four men forced their way into a hotel room, inappropriately touching one woman, and holding a knife to another, according to the initial police report.

21 year old Calvin Leon Miles Jr., of Myrtle Beach was taken into custody early Saturday morning for charges stemming from an armed robbery in April.

Miles is facing charges ranging from Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, and Possession of a Weapon, according to the Arrest Report.

According to the initial police report written for the robbery, officers arrived at the Ocean Plaza Motel just after 6:30 a.m. on April 22.

Just an hour earlier, the people sleeping in the room tell police someone knocked on the door, saying it was Myrtle Beach Police. When the hotel guests opened the door, four men forced their way into the room.

Once inside the room, the report states, the men forced all the victims to lie face down on the bed. One female victim was brought into the bathroom, and tells police the suspect fondled her.

A second suspect took car keys from the room, stealing a GPS unit from the victim's vehicle. Upon returning to the room, all four men started searching the hotel room, taking phones, credit cards, jewelry, cash, and other valuables.

After rifling through the room, one of the suspects took one woman next door to the Polynesian Resort to the hotel's ATM. She tells police the man held a knife to her back while walking back and forth to the ATM, where she withdrew $200 and gave it to the suspect.

When they returned to the hotel room, the report shows the suspects gathered up all of the items and left. The victims ran from the room and went to another room, borrowing another guest's phone to call police.
