Oscar Mayer's Wienermobile visits Grand Strand

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Hot diggity dog. The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is making a pit stop in the Grand Strand!

The hot dog shaped traveler will visit Lowe's Foods locations all across the state, and here are the stops where you can catch a sight of the big bun:

  • Thursday, May 9 - 111 Pavilion Drive, Little River
  • 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Friday, May 10 - 11903 Highway 707, Murrells Inlet
  • 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Saturday, May 11 - 1399 S. Commons Drive, Myrtle Beach
  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • Saturday, May 11 - 970 Cipriana Drive, Myrtle Beach
  • 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

    At these events, Oscar Mayer representatives Hot Diggity Holly and Lots of Ketchup Lisa will be playing fun activities with families and handing out the "iconic Wiener Whistles."

    Oscar Mayer chose 12 out of 1,200 applicants to tour the nation in their fleet of Weinermobiles. For more information, check out the Hotdogger Blog at hotdoggerblog.com.

      GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Georgetown Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's help after a man was shot early Sunday morning outside LoLo's Bar in Andrews. According to a report released by GCSO, a 30-year-old man was wounded around 5 a.m. Sunday morning and transported to the hospital for treatment.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at (843)-546-5102.       FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - A car fire in the 2000 block of Pineland Avenue in Florence was stifled before it could spread Sunday afternoon.  Florence Fire and Police Departments responded to the call to find the car engulfed in flames under the home's carport, according to Florence Fire Marshal Chris Johnson.
