NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – North Myrtle Beach is gearing up for the annual Mayfest on Main festival May 11 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The festival, located on Main Street from Hillside Dr. to Ocean Blvd. in North Myrtle Beach, will include live musical acts, street entertainers, arts and crafts, food vendors, a community stage and a children's area.
Opening ceremonies will be at the Main Stage, in the "horseshoe" at the east end of Main Street, at 12:00 p.m. Main Stage performances will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The Community Stage will be located at 230 Main Street, and performances there will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Parking will be available on the grass parking lot on the corner of 2nd Ave. North and Ocean Blvd., the dirt lot on the corner of 1st Ave. South and Ocean Blvd., and at McLean Park at 93 Oak Dr. Off-site parking will be available at King of Glory Lutheran Church at 805 11th Ave. North, with buses running every 15 minutes.
Ocean Blvd. will be closed to vehicle traffic from 1st. Ave South to 1st Ave. North from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. the day of the event. Main St. will be closed to traffic from Hillside Dr. to Ocean Blvd.

4:00 p.m. – Little River Band
