MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The WMBF Storm Team continues to watch for showers and thunderstorms as we head through the evening, but the risk of rain will quickly start to diminish by 10 p.m., says WMBF Chief Meteorologist Jamie Arnold.

Plenty of moisture and cool temperatures will lead to areas of fog Tuesday night with lows in the lower 50s.

Drier air will start to invade the area on Wednesday with more sunshine and just a slight chance of an afternoon shower. More sun means more warmth and temperatures will reach the mid to upper 70s. We may finally see the more May-like weather by Thursday and Friday with sunny skies and temperatures reach the lower to middle 80s.
