MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach Police arrested a Colorado man Sunday afternoon who had two confirmed warrants out of his home state, and found over 27 grams of cocaine in his vehicle, according to reports.

At about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to a hotel in the 1300 block of North Ocean Boulevard in reference to reports of someone selling narcotics out of a suspicious car with Colorado registration, according to the Myrtle Beach Police incident report.

The offender, identified as 31-year-old Christopher Allen Major, told police he and a friend were looking for a room at the hotel, the report states. The officer ran the offender through the National Crime Information Center database and found he had two active warrants out of Colorado.
