MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Kings Highway Corridor Committee will meet today to discuss its recommendations for changes to Kings Highway.
So far the top items on the list is adding a bike path and pedestrian lanes including routes to connect side streets between Ocean Boulevard and Kings Highway.
"I will slow right down, and people will get mad behind you," said David Farrell, who lives in Myrtle Beach. "And honk their horn to let somebody go across it. I'll see them so they'll get across safe and certainly I feel like slowing people down wouldn't hurt anything."
There have been some discussions like lowering the speed limit, and reducing the lanes, but WMBF News has been told by the Myrtle Beach Planning Department that that's still just a suggestion at this point.
