Burro Fest kicking off

Posted: Updated:

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Rain or shine, you're bound to have a good time at the 16th annual Burro Fest at Burro Loco.

The restaurant is hosting its annual Burro Fest today, closing down the parking lot for live entertainment and games.

The first band is kicking off at 1 p.m., live music will continue until 11 p.m. But the fun doesn't stop there! A DJ will be boothing the tunes until last call at 2 a.m.

A section of the parking lot is being transformed into ‘Burro Beach' where you can enjoy games like Corn Hole and Ladder Golf.

You don't need to be 21 to enter, but if you do plan on celebrating with a margarita in hand  you will need a wristband.

A full service bar and menu is available. There is also $5 food outside and drink specials.

Areas of the lot will be covered with tents, so the festivities will be happening no matter the weather.

Parking & Shuttles:

Burro Loco is offering free shuttle services.

From CCU: students can pick up the shuttle near the stadium, dropping you off right in front of Burro Fest

From Myrtle Waves: parking is being offered at Myrtle Waves, with a free shuttle service to the parking lot of Burro Loco

Gold's Gym: is offering $10 parking located directly in front of the entrance into Burro Fest.
