FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - A fourth suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged assault of a man at Florence's Club Nirvana in April.
Joseph B. Singleton, 23, of Sumter, was arrested by investigators with the Florence County Sheriff's Office on May 8, and charged with one count of Assault and Battery by Mob, according to a news release. On May 3, two men were arrested in connection to the alleged assault at Florence's Club Nirvana on April 23.
Police say 40-year-old Christopher Mack, and 40-year-old Ricardo S. Sinkler both work as security guards at the club, located on East Palmetto Street.
According to the police reports, an assault by Singleton, Sinkler and Mack was recorded and posted on the internet, and the victim needed medical attention.
Mack and Sinkler were both arrested and charged with assault and battery by mob and common law robbery.
Ricardo Sinkler is also charged with assault and battery.
Sinkler was released from the Florence County Detention Center on a $25,000 surety bond. Bond for Mack was set at $5,000 surety, but he remains at the Florence County Detention Center on a family court bench warrant.
On May 15, a fourth suspect, 30-year-old Jameyal Thomas, was booked on assault and battery charges in connection to this incident.
Capt. Michael Nunn says Thomas assaulted one of the bouncers, Ricardo Sinkler, before the three bouncers assaulted him. That assault was captured on video.
He is detained in the Florence County Detention Center.
