3 arrested in Brunswick Co. narcotics investigation; cocaine seized

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – Three people were arrested and 330 grams of cocaine were seized as a result of a narcotics investigation in Brunswick County last week.

Kemine Taylor, 23, and Joshua Orlando Bernard, 24, were arrested on April 25 and charged with 12 counts each of tracking in cocaine, two counts each of sell/deliver cocaine, and one count each of conspire to traffic in cocaine, according to a news release from the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. Both are being held in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $1,000,000 secured bond.

Amy Michelle Slusser, 27, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor child abuse and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The sheriff's office Vice-Narcotics Unit collaborated with the State Bureau of Investigations and the ATF as part of the investigation.
