The Fresh Market to open a store in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The popular grocery store chain The Fresh Market plans to open the doors of a new location in Myrtle Beach.

A press release from The Fresh Market outlined the Northwood Plaza Shopping Center, at 7751 N. Kings Highway as the site of the new store, making it South Carolina's seventh store from the chain.

"We are excited about our continued expansion in the Southern region, and in South Carolina in particular," said Rob Koch, vice president of real estate for The Fresh Market. "We look forward to building on the success of our Pawleys Island and Hilton Head stores, where we have enjoyed a strong and loyal customer base, and to providing customers in Myrtle Beach with the same quality products and excellent customer service."

The Fresh Market says is has built its reputation on being an extraordinary food destination store. "From bountiful product and a full-service meat counter, to convenient prepared foods, and an in-store bakery," said Craig Carlock, the company's president and CEO, "customers will discover that our stores are committed to variety, freshness and value as well as superior customer service."
