2 men wanted in Florence for breaking into vending machines, ATMs

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – Florence Police officials are asking the public's help in locating two men who they say have been breaking into vending, change and automatic teller machines around town.

Theodore Lester McWhite, Junior, 31, has 15 outstanding warrants for his arrest, and police say he's been breaking into vending and change machines around Florence. His charges consist of multiple counts each of possession of burglary tools, resisting arrest, malicious injury to personal property, and petty theft.

McWhite, Junior is described by authorities as a 31-year-old African-American man, 5-feet-9-inches tall, 160 pounds in weight, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man who they say attempted to break into an ATM at TD Bank on 121 Dozer Boulevard with a crowbar on April 11 at 1:40 a.m.
