MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police stated that the 54-year-old man reported missing Thursday afternoon was located later in the evening.
The incident reports states he was reported missing by his daughter who traveling to the Grand Strand with him for vacation, but McCoy was arrested for trespassing. After he was released from jail, his daughter could not find him.
The report further stated that his daughter and a police officer checked several spots downtown and could not locate him.
Myrtle Beach officials announced Friday morning that he was located Thursday night.
Mr. Johnny McCoy has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was not on his medication, according to the press release from the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
