Assistant US Attorney awarded FBI Community Leadership Award

COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) – Assistant United States Attorney Stacey Haynes has been awarded the Federal Bureau of Investigations 2012 Director's Community Leadership Award, according to a press release from the US Attorney, District of South Carolina.

She was awarded with this honor for her work with the community, and her dedication in working to reduce gun violence

AUSA Haynes serves as the Coordinator for the U. S. Attorney's Office Project Safe Neighborhood Initiative, and also as the Anti-Gang Coordinator for the U. S. Attorney's Office. She also mentors youth.

The FBI gives an annual award to an outstanding member or organization from each field office for efforts and determination in keeping communities safer, and Haynes received the award for the Columbia Division.
