FLORENCE, SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) - A man is charged with vandalism and disturbing schools after he left a trail of sexually-explicit notes in the City of Florence.

The City of Florence Police Department says Ekwuqcha "Amiche" McCall, of Springfield Massachusetts, left one of those notes at Royall Elementary School. The note described acts the man wanted women to perform on him.

Florence School District One released a press release which said no students came into contact with that note. According to that release, McCall's explicit note was left on a table in hopes that a female staff member would find it. School Administrators turned the note and surveillance video over to local law enforcement, which led to McCall's arrest.

Tim Compton with the City of Florence says when the agency was able to track down McCall; he was in Boston. Police asked McCall to return back to Florence for questioning, and McCall turned himself in. Further investigation revealed McCall was not targeting children with his notes.

McCall is being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
