Day One Done: Dustin Johnson in third at The Masters

Dustin Johnson sits in sole possession of third place after his first round of The Masters on Thursday at Augusta National Golf Course in Georgia.

Johnson fired a five-under 67, and was the first golfer to eagle on number 13 more than midway past his round. The former Coastal Carolina All-American trails both Marc Leishman and Sergio Garcia by one stroke after Thursday's action. Johnson sat at six under par until hole 17, when he gave back one stroke due to his only bogey of the day.

Trailing Johnson are six players, all tied for fourth at four strokes under par. Tiger Woods, the top-ranked golfer in the world, shot a two-under 70 and sits tied for 13th.

Johnson tees off with Fred Couples and Branden Grace on Friday at 9:50 a.m.
