Burglary suspect turns himself in after manhunt

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man wanted for breaking and entering into his girlfriend's home was on the run from police until turning himself in Friday morning.

According to the North Myrtle Beach city spokesman Pat Dowling, James Abdul Aziz White is suspected of burglary and criminal domestic violence.

He turned himself in to face charges for burglary and criminal domestic violence at the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety Friday, April 12 at 9:13 a.m.

But the afternoon before police responded to a victim's 911 call and began to search for White in the surrounding area. Detectives with the city of North Myrtle Beach believed White to be in the wooded area off Water Tower Road, Highway 31 or Highway 22.
