FMU Christian org. hosts free worship event

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - RENEW!, a Christ-centered, Francis Marion University-sanctioned student organization will host The Worship Experience on Thursday, April 11 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., according to a news release from the organization.

The free event is open to the entire community surrounding FMU. Students from neighboring colleges and churches are also invited to attend. The event will be held at the Chapman Auditorium located in the McNair Science Building.

Rivers of Worship will minister through song, as will FMU senior Amanda Graham. "I am thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to share the gift of song He has shared with me," Graham says.

Jasper De Witt II, a senior at FMU will minister music through the keyboard.

Dance ministries for RENEW! will include Water Falls from Rivers of Living Water in Florence, Atmosphere Changers from Household of Faith Deliverance Worship Center in Ardmore, PA, and Divine Dance Ministry, a ministry based out of Charleston, SC.

The RENEW! Bible study seeks to share with believers of the faith and unbelievers alike to enhance their knowledge, understanding and application of their faith through study, discussion and expressions of worship and brotherly love.

Weekly RENEW! meetings are held Tuesdays at 3 p.m. in the University Center room 220. All students are welcome to participate.
