COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF/ WIS) - Columbia Police officers have arrested a man wanted for forcing his way into a house and robbing seven people at gunpoint.  Some of the victims reported he stole the "grills" from their mouths.

Police arrested 20-year-old Valtori Chapman Saturday evening on warrants for six counts of robbery, seven counts each of kidnapping and possession of a weapon during a violent crime and burglary. Richland County Sheriff's deputies assisted in the arrest.

Investigators say Chapman forced his way into a house on Center Street just before 2 a.m. on March 29.  Once inside, police say he ordered seven people onto the floor at gunpoint and rummaged through their clothes, vehicles and home for items to steal.

Among those items were three sets of gold teeth "grills" taken from the victims mouths. Police say Chapman also stole electronics and jewelry.

None of the victims was injured.

Police suspect Chapman had accomplices.
