MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - First it was Roswell, New Mexico. Now you can learn about Unidentified Flying Objects and the like in Myrtle Beach.

"Encounters: The UFO Experience" opens Thursday at Broadway at the Beach.

The exhibition features more than 200 items, models, film clips and recordings pertaining to UFOs. It features seven galleries that will explore everything from the military's role in modern UFO reports to pop culture's fascination about the possibility of life on other planets.

The exhibit, presented by a company called Intergalactic Brands, is having its world premiere in Myrtle Beach.

The Broadway at the Beach complex includes theaters, nightclubs, hotels, 23 restaurants and more than 100 specialty shops.
