Protesters in Wilmington call for stricter gun control laws

WILMINGTON, SC (WMBF) – Dozens of people rallied for stricter gun-control laws on Saturday in downtown Wilmington.

The group, named Carolinians for Sensible Gun Laws, and said they were out to generate greater awareness for the need for gun-control regulation and reform. The group says it's mission is to educate and advocate for sensible gun laws, aimed at limiting gun magazine capacity.

Protestors said that since the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Connecticut, they have seen an increased sense of urgency for stricter gun control.
