LITCHFIELD BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Fire crews responded to a condo fire in a Litchfield Beach gated community early Tuesday morning.

Midway Fire spokesperson Bob Beebe confirms the fire in the Litchfield by the Sea gated community was extinguished Tuesday morning. Officials confirm that no one was hurt, and at least three of the four burned condos were vacant.

Investigators said Wednesday that a lightning strike sparked the fire when storms rolled through the area Tuesday.
