Gov. Haley, emergency responders to brief media on fire

CAROLINA FOREST, SC (WMBF) – Governor Nikki Haley and emergency responders briefed the media Monday afternoon on the response operations to the wildfire at Windsor Green in Carolina Forest on Saturday.

The press conference began at about 3:15 p.m. Details from the conference and raw video will be updated on this story shortly.

The governor was joined by representatives from local and state emergency response organizations, including Randy Webster, Director of Horry County Emergency Management, Kim Stenson, Interim Director of South Carolina's Emergency Management Division, Horry County Fire/Rescue, the State Fire Marshall's Office and the South Carolina Forestry Commission.
