DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The man charged with the murder of a man in Hartsville on Sunday night has been apprehended without incident, law enforcement officials confirm.
Darlington County Sheriff's official Capt. Andy Locklair confirmed that Jamie Lewis, of Chesterfield, was arrested without incident in the Pageland area at the corner of Gus and Airport Road at about 12:30 a.m. Monday morning.
On Sunday evening, investigators were called to a house on Pine Needle Lane in Hartsville, where 56-year-old Edward Brewington was found dead.
Lewis has been charged with Brewington's murder and was transported to the Darlington County Detention Center.
