(CNN) - An Iowa police officer pulled a driver from a burning car, and the rescue was caught on the police car's dashboard camera.

The officer breaks the passenger window, opens the door, then reaches inside and pulls the unconscious driver out.

Police say the 18-year-old victim was doing doughnuts in the snow when he lost control and struck an air conditioning unit in a parking lot.

He was taken to the hospital and now faces reckless driving charges.
