MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A cold front is picking up steam and quickly moving through the area this morning, says WMBF Storm Team Meteorologist Marla Branson.

The bulk of the rain is moving on out, expect a couple more hours of just stray splash and dash showers.

Tuesday will be a little muggy and mild. Temperatures will be able to get pretty warm in the afternoon (upper 60s to near 70). Tuesday night winds quickly shift and start to bring in cool dry air. Temperatures will take a little dip Wednesday and Thursday before rebounding just in time for the weekend.
