ALBUQUERQUE, NM (WMBF/CNN) - Police are investigating a new threat from the
prisoner accused of trying to kill pop star Justin Bieber.
The prisoner was recorded on a prison telephone hiring a hit man to castrate
and suffocate the singer.
According to the recording, a new hit man has been hired to kill Bieber,
everyone on stage with him and even audience members.
Prison officials are now trying to see if that's true because Martin is known
to use euphemisms.
"We are currently pulling any of the previous phone calls to see if he's used
any codes," said Mike Ferstle, director of the Security Threat Intelligence Unit
of the New Mexico Corrections Department.
Ferstle adds Martin is in solitary confinement at a maximum security prison
in Santa Fe, and all his communications privileges have been revoked.
He is serving two-life sentences for the rape and murder of a 15-year-old
girl.
