HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Traffic safety checkpoints are being conducted through March in Marion, Florence and Horry Counties to stop drunk driving.
A news release from the Horry County Police Department on Monday morning stated the safety checks will be conducted on different dates and times all month long. They seek to detect anyone driving under the influence with vehicle and driver license checks.
The Florence County Sheriff's Office released a similar news release. All law enforcement agencies in Florence and Marion Counties will focus on preventing car accidents, detecting drunk drivers and the enforcement of motor vehicle violations.
