2 charged with Valentine's Day stabbing

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Two people are facing charges for their involvement in a fight that led to a stabbing.

Conway Police spokeswoman Selena Small says the fight broke out on Valentine's Day around 6:55 p.m. on the 2500 block of Oak Street.

During the fight a man was stabbing in the leg. Though his condition is unknown, police have named and arrested two suspects - 44-year-old Suyapa Castro and 50-year-old Ventura Quinones of Conway.

Both are charged with assault and battery by a mob.
