MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Those riding
the bus in Myrtle Beach this weekend should expect delays and route changes due
to the Myrtle Beach Marathon.
According to a news release from The
Coast RTA, riders should expect delays on Routes 7 and 10 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, February 15.
On Saturday, Route 15 South will
operate south on Ocean Boulevard and North on Kings Highway. There will be no
service to or from Market Common until 3 p.m., if traffic control permits.
Route 15 North will operate north on
Kings Highway and access Ocean Boulevard via 82nd Parkway to North
Ocean Boulevard South on Saturday, the release states. Route 15N will turn
right on 9th Ave. to the Transfer Center.
According to the release, the first
morning trip on Saturday will operate north on Kings Highway to 79th
Avenue North, then will operate South Ocean Boulevard to South Beach and North
Kings Highway to the Transfer Center.
Morning service on Route 16X Saturday
will maintain on North Kings Highway to 79th Avenue, and resume the
regular route schedule during the evening.
