MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The final round in a series of storm systems will move through the Grand Strand and Pee Dee Tuesday night and Wednesday.
This will be the strongest out of all the storm systems we have seen so far this week, and will drop the most rain. Showers will overspread the area Tuesday evening and become widespread and heavy at times through daybreak on Wednesday.
An isolated thunderstorm will be possible. Temperatures will drop to near 50.
The steady rain will turn to more off and on showers and isolated thunderstorms by Wednesday afternoon with gusty winds to near 35 mph. Temperatures will be very mild with highs in the mid to upper 60s. We'll finally dry out and clear out for Thursday and Friday.
You can track with storm system as it moves through your neighborhood with the FREE Storm Team weather app on your smartphone.
