MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - There are a lot of restrictions placed on air travelers, making it hard to remember all the items prohibited from carry-on and checked luggage.
One of those prohibited items is fireworks. But one passenger attempting to embark on a flight out of Myrtle Beach International Monday may have forgotten that fact.
Jon Allen, spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration in the southeast tweeted a photo of fireworks that were discovered in a bag of a passenger with a reminder that they ARE NOT allowed in your checked or carry-on bags.
Myrtle Beach International has seen its share of passengers in hot water for packing prohibited items. A loaded gun was discovered in a carry-on bag on Jan. 17, the first for 2013. Three were found in 2013.
