Burroughs and Chapin Museum holding fundraising event for collectors

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF)--The 2nd annual Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum Collectors' Event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 24 at Collectors Café.

One hundred works of art will be available from local, regional, and internationally-known artists.

This fundraiser will be a fast-paced, high-energy style auction, providing veteran and novice art collectors alike with a chance to obtain unique artwork while supporting the museum.

A preview will be held from 4 to 5 p.m., immediately followed by the fundraiser until 7 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased at www.myrtlebeachartmuseum.org or by calling the Art Museum at 843-238-2510. The price is $100 and includes admission for two and a guaranteed original work of art.

Food and a cash bar will also be available.

Collectors Café is located at 7740 N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.
