MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – At about 3:45 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a home near 9th Avenue South and Highway 15, after victims reported that a group of six people carrying knives and guns allegedly pushed their way into a home and assaulted them.
According to a report from Myrtle Beach Police, one of the victims told police that when one of the residents went to answer a knock on the door of their home on Century Street, about six people carrying knives and guns pushed their way into the home and began fighting. He told police that they jumped on him when he tried to break it up.
Another victim told police that one of the offenders punched her juvenile daughter.
Police have identified one of the suspects as 33-year-old Selina La'shon Johnson.
Several of the suspects left in a gray ford Crown Victoria with a spotlight on the driver's side, the release states. One of the offenders was seen driving a red or burgundy Pontiac Grand Am.
