MARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Two Horry County teens are in hot water for their behavior on a school bus.

That bus was traveling through Marion County en route to an event in the Pee Dee on Jan. 22 when two teen boys allegedly assaulted a teen girl.

An investigation by the Marion County Sheriff's Office revealed on the boys, 17-year-old Shaquawan McGill of Loris pulled down his pants on the bus, then tried to put his hands down the pants of a 15-year-old girl.

When the teen girl resisted, screaming, the report states a 14-year-old male covered her mouth with his hand.

Marion County Sheriff Mark Richardson explains that both McGill and the 14-year-old boy have been charged with criminal sexual conduct.

McGill's bond was set at $40,000 with GPS monitoring. The juvenile's case has been turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
