GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF/WCSC) - Two murder suspects wanted out of North Carolina are now behind bars, thanks to deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.

Georgetown County investigators assisted the Mooresville Police Department to locate and capture 22-year-old Nicholas Burnette Clark and 21-year-old Sheila Amanda Hendley.

A Mooresville police spokesman said Henley and Clark are charged with murder in connection with the death of their 2-year-old daughter, Lucy Rose Clark.

The toddler was found dead on March 15, 2012 when the family was living in Mooresville, police confirmed. The police spokesman would not elaborate on the details of the investigation at this time.

A press release from Mooresville PD says SLED also assisted with these arrests. Currently in custody in the Georgetown County Detention Center, the duo will be extradited back to North Carolina to face murder charges and two counts of felony child abuse.
