Paula Caruso hosts Grand Strand Choir Challenge

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Once again this year, choirs in Horry County will meet to compete with WMBF News Anchor Paula Caruso as host of the "Choir Challenge."

This great competition will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. in the Wheelwright Auditorium in Coastal Carolina University's campus.

The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration and Spadoni College of Education sponsors the Grand Strand Choir Challenge.

Competitors for the title of "Best Choir" are hoping to score $1,000. Proceeds from this contest benefit CCU's Each One Teach One Entrepreneurship Institute, which provides middle and high school students with the tools they need to build prosperous, successful futures in education and entrepreneurship.

Admission is $8 before the contest, and $10 at the door. Children under the age of 10 will be admitted for only $5. You can buy tickets on CCU's website.
