HEMINGWAY, SC (WMBF) - Three teens are in hot water for their involvement in a home invasion in Georgetown County.
According to Georgetown County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson, the home invasion was reported on Hicks Drive in the Pee Dee community around 1 p.m. Sunday.
When the three teens burst into the home and realized someone was inside, they ran into the woods. Based on the descriptions given, deputies located one of the teens at a community center and he confessed. The other two were taken into custody a short time later.
Jamah Davis, 18, and 17-year-old Dequan Wilson of Hemingway have been charged with burglary and detained in the Georgetown County Detention Center for a bond hearing.
The third suspect is a 16-year-old male who was given a summons on a burglary charge and released to a family member.
