MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Highway 501 has reopened after being closed due to a two-vehicle accident that injured three people.
According to officials, a white car was heading north on Highway 501 near Singleton Ridge Road when the driver of an SUV coming out of a private drive onto the highway lost control and hit the white car.
Both drivers and a passenger were injured, officials confirmed, and were transported to a nearby hospital. The injuries were not life-threatening.
